Laurie-Ann Matthews has been a leader in dance education in Southwestern Ontario for over 30 years. She is certified as a Fellow, Life Member and Examiner in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Free Style, Stage and Modern with the B.A.T.D., holds a Teaching Diploma with the R.A.D, and has completed her Advanced I.S.T.D.
Holleigh has been dancing since the age of 4. She has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and modern. She has loved dance since the day she started and has always dreamed of teaching young children to love dance as well.
Break (Breakdance) Director
Lee “Lethal” Pham is an Artist and Producer. Known in the b-boy community as Lethal, he is a fifth generation member of world-renowned b-boy crew The SuperNaturalz. He is also a part of Toronto-based contemporary company, The Chimera Project.
Michelle has been a fitness and dance instructor/choreographer for 30 years for adults, teens and children and is a long time youth dance instructor with the Boys & Girls Club of London and City of London Recreation Department.
Kelly has been dancing for most of her life. She has dance recreationally since the age of 6 and competitively since the age of 8. She has trained in many different styles such as Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Lyrical.
Tiffany Kriter has been a dance teacher and choreographer in London, Ontario for the past seven years. She began her dance training at the early age of five and has trained extensively in many dance styles including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary.
Raquel has danced since the age of 10. She trains in genres such as Hip Hop, Acro, Contemporary, Breakin’, and Ballet. Meanwhile she excels in Contemp, Acrobatics, and Break. Whilst being a competitive Dancer, Raquel previously danced for the NBL team London Lightning and was cast in London Fringe Festival’s “A Life Within” performance.
Mr. Brandon is excited to bring his bright personality and passion for dance to the faculty of Elan Dance Arts! Brandon has been training recreationally in Hip-Hop and Contemporary for seven years now. He has trained at many studios in London including, O’Neil Academy of Dance, and Dance Extreme, however, majority of his training has been spent right here at Elan Dance Arts.
Melody Mulligan is recognized as one of the most versatile dance teachers in the industry. She is known to be a great motivator and always brings out the best in her students. She began her training in both professional ballet programs at the National Ballet School and the Quinte Ballet School.
Jailin has been dancing for almost his whole life. He’s a self-taught Hip Hop dancer and started to dance competitively at age 15 and started teaching professionally at age 16. He’s trained in Breakdancing, bollywood, krumping, tutting and urban contemporary. He is also an actor and has done a plethora of commercials such as an ad for RBC, Cineplex Scene, Wonderland and more.
Aydia has been dancing for over 10 years and has trained in many genres of dance including acro, tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and contemporary. She has been in 2 full length contemporary productions in the London Fringe Festival. She competed with EDA for multiple years, and also danced for the London Lightning NBL team. She trained at the Conteur Academy of Dance in 2017 and is also a graduate of the George Brown Dance Program.
Evelyn has been dancing at EDA since 2011 and won the Most Potential Senior Dancer in 2018. She started training in Hip Hop then later added Ballet and Jazz but Evelyn’s true passion is in Musical Theatre. Drawn to the stage since her youth, she approaches life with an energy that is both optimistic and contagious. Evelyn loves working with children and looks forward to combining her experience as a volunteer instructor at the Pearson Arts Camp and staff Swimming Instructor for the YMCA with dance instruction at EDA.
Emma has been dancing since the age of three in all styles. She has danced competitively at Dance Extreme and O'Neil Academy of Dance. Emma is currently training under Reet Roy and a member of Footnotes Academy in Toronto. Emma also trains with ONE here in London and is working on a production with Sadiat which will be showcased in March 2020. Emma aspires to one day own her own dance studio.
